Taste Of The Wild Wetlands Canine Formula With Roasted Fowl Formula Is More Average For The Price Than Incredible,

The Good: Very nutritious, Myah will eat it
The Bad: Very expensive, Myah consumes it, but not enthusiastically.
The Basics: One of the new foods Myah has tried that she has been more neutral to, Taste Of The Wild Wetlands Canine Formula With Roasted Fowl Formula dog food is very expensive compared to how much she liked it.

Taste Of The Wild is a dog food I had no experience with – in fact, I had not even heard of it – until Myah, my five year-old Siberian Husky – was gifted a bag of Wetlands Canine Formula With Roasted Fowl Formula dog food. Myah, who has been getting a number of grain-free dog foods, though she has no specific need for that, received the bag of Wetlands Canine Formula With Roasted Fowl dog food, but she was much more neutral to this than most of the other grain free dog foods she tried.

Even so, Myah ate and seemed to enjoy the Taste Of The Wild Wetlands Canine Formula With Roasted Fowl Formula dog food, she just did not get excited about consuming it and, for the price, that is too poor a value for me.

Basics

A single serving of Taste Of The Wild Wetlands Canine Formula With Roasted Fowl Formula dog food is two cups for a big dog like Myah and she is supposed to get one such serving per day, so a five pound bag only lasts about a week. Getting only a week out of the $20 bag is a bit too expensive for me. Each piece of Taste Of The Wild Wetlands Canine Formula With Roasted Fowl Formula dog food is a dark brown disc that is very mealy in its texture and quite hard. They are 1/2" in diameter and 3/16” thick.

Ease Of Preparation

As a dry dog food, preparation of Taste Of The Wild Wetlands Canine Formula With Roasted Fowl Formula dog food is as easy as opening a bag and measuring out the pellets inside. There is no further prep needed.

Myah’s Reaction

The Taste Of The Wild Wetlands Canine Formula With Roasted Fowl Formula actually smells, unsurprisingly, like fresh roasted meat, though not a specific, recognizable meat. This is a very aromatic dog food, though the aroma is not unpleasant. Myah wandered over to the food whenever I served it to her and she ate it, but she frequently looked at me with an expression of “is that it?!” She would eat the food, but not eagerly or voraciously. She had no negative reactions to the Wetlands Canine Formula With Roasted Fowl Formula, but she did not eat it with anything approaching zeal or even interest.

Nutrition

Taste Of The Wild Wetlands Canine Formula With Roasted Fowl Formula dog food is made primarily of duck, duck meal, and chicken meal, the ingredients are all natural, though there are added minerals for canine health. According to the guaranteed analysis, Taste Of The Wild Wetlands Canine Formula With Roasted Fowl Formula dog food has at least 32% crude protein, 18% crude fat, but no more than 4% crude fiber and 10% moisture. As a dry dog food, it is highly recommended that you have adequate water available for your dog when serving it Taste Of The Wild Wetlands Canine Formula With Roasted Fowl Formula dog food.

Overall

Taste Of The Wild Wetlands Canine Formula With Roasted Fowl Formula dog food is healthy, with great ingredients, but Myah did not seem to care about it, which made it tough to justify the expense of this food.
