The Basics: The Great Lakes Wholesale Cat Teaser Wand Cat Toy keeps Timber, Elim and Evie engaged and exercizing each day . . . until they destroy the wand!
My cats get a lot of awesome toys, especially now that my local discount store stocks a pretty vast number of inexpensive cat toys. Nothing quite proves that price does not necessarily make the best cat products like the Great Lakes Wholesale Cat Teaser Wand. The Great Lakes Wholesale Cat Teaser Wand is a very inexpensive (we get ours for only $1.00 each) cat toy and it is nice that even when the cats inevitably destroy it, it is not cost-prohibitive to replace. And, considering that each Great Lakes Wholesale Cat Teaser Wand tends to last about a month with playing with three cats, the inexpensive cat toy is not at all prohibitive to stock up on!
The Great Lakes Wholesale Cat Teaser Wand Cat Toy is a toy designed to allow cats to play with their owners and it offers decent bonding time. The Great Lakes Wholesale Cat Teaser Wand Cat Toy is a flexible plastic stick with a fabric tail attached to it. The Great Lakes Wholesale Cat Teaser Wand Cat Toy is the 19" long plastic stick with a 13" long feltlike fabric piece that resembles an overthick mouse tail. The fabric piece comes in many different colors - green, magenta, and teal, at least - and our cats do not show any preference based upon the fabric color.
Playing with the Great Lakes Wholesale Cat Teaser Wand Cat Toy is exceptionally easy. A human needs only to hold the plastic wand, like a magic wand, and dangle the fabric piece in front of the cat one wishes to play with. Cats attempt to catch the wiggling fabric piece and the human can flick the wand in order to keep the cat from actually grabbing the fabric piece.
All three of the cats we have love playing with the Great Lakes Wholesale Cat Teaser Wand. Timber (older, fatter cat) and Evie (just over a year old) actively chase the Great Lakes Wholesale Cat Teaser Wand whenever we bring one out. Elim, our middle orange cat, grabs at the fabric portion of the Great Lakes Wholesale Cat Teaser Wand and plays with it fabric whenever it is within range of his paws. That is more playing than he does with most cat toys!
What the Great Lakes Wholesale Cat Teaser Wand does not have is durability. A fast-moving cat or a heavy cat resisting a person pulling the wand back can separate the fabric from the plastic wand. The fabric is basically connected to the wand by hot glue and when it cracks apart, the two pieces separate and there is no real good way to reconnect the two pieces.
When cats get the Great Lakes Wholesale Cat Teaser Wand dirty - either by dragging the fabric piece through something unclean (don't play near wet cat food!) or because they have unclean paws for whatever reason - the fabric piece is exceptionally easy to clean. The fabric can easily be washed off or washed and soaked and then dried over a day or two.
Despite the lack of durability, the Great Lakes Wholesale Cat Teaser Wand Cat Toy is a great toy to help cats and their human companions bond with close play!
