OGX Gravity-Defying & Hydration + O2 Conditioner Does What It Promises . . . For A High Price!

The Good: Conditions well, Rejuvenates hair well
The Bad: Scent is not evocative or distinctive, EXPENSIVE.
The Basics: OGX's Gravity-Defying & Hydration + O2 Conditioner does what it promises, but for a comparatively high price!

Not long ago, I had my first experience with OGX hair care products with the OGX Gravity-Defying & Hydration + O2 Shampoo (reviewed here!). That shampoo was good, but comparatively unremarkable for the price. Despite that, I eagerly tried OGX Gravity-Defying & Hydration + O2 Conditioner.

OGX is a premium hair care line that has pretty much exploded in the marketplace over the last few years. Their reputation was one of the big reasons I was eager to try the bottles of Gravity-Defying & Hydration + O2 Conditioner and despite not having a strong or recognizable scent that endures, I was generally pleased with the OGX Gravity-Defying & Hydration + O2 Conditioner. The Gravity-Defying & Hydration + O2 Conditioner conditioned fairly well, but did not leave any scent on the hair.

OGX Conditioners are part of an expensive line of hair care products that tend to be found for an average price of $9.00 per 13 oz. bottle in most markets in the United States. The bottles are flat on the sides and tapered at the top, which makes them very slippery when wet. Gravity-Defying & Hydration + O2 is an opaque white Conditioner that is very thick and is applied much like a hand cream, but to the hair. The Gravity-Defying & Hydration + O2 Conditioner comes with a flip-top cap for easy access to the Conditioner, though it is tough to dispense with one hand while in the shower.

The OGX Gravity-Defying & Hydration + O2 Conditioner is a simple hair care product, so there is no trick to using it. Simply place a large dollop on your hand and rub it into your wet hair, away from the scalp. The Gravity-Defying & Hydration + O2 Conditioner fixes brittle hair and split ends and does so within a week of first starting to use it.

The Gravity-Defying & Hydration + O2 Conditioner claims to moisturize and make hair bouncier and it does that exceptionally well. This helped heal my hair and make it noticeably more manageable after four uses, which is fairly impressive.

What is a little less impressive is the aroma from the OGX Gravity-Defying & Hydration + O2 conditioner. The OGX Gravity-Defying & Hydration + O2 Conditioner has a very mild scent which is best described as "vaguely coconut." The scent does not endure on the hair for very long at all, which is a bit disappointing.

Ultimately, even without a strong or distinct aroma, the Gravity-Defying & Hydration + O2 Conditioner does what it promises and that makes it worth it, even for the price!
