When Myah Eats Rachael Ray Nutrish Real Chicken & Veggies Recipie Dog Food, She Gets Back To A Fit Weight!

The Good: Very nutritious, Myah seems to like it.
The Bad: Comparatively exceptionally expensive.
The Basics: Myah endorses Rachael Ray Nutrish Real Chicken & Veggies Recipe adult dog food, though not as enthusiastically as some other dog foods she has tried of late.

Since my wife left for her summer job, I have been worried about Myah, our Siberian Husky. Myah was still in the process of putting on weight from her last pregnancy when my wife departed, so I have been anxious whenever she does not eat all that much. To help her bulk up a little bit more, I picked up a bag of Rachael Ray Nutrish Real Chicken & Veggies Recipe adult dog food for Myah. I am pleased to say, it works . . . at least when Myah will actually eat it!

I’m not big into trends and I have had mixed results with other Rachael Ray products, like Nutrish Just 6 Lamb & Rice Dog Food (reviewed here!) and the Healthy Weight Turkey & Veggies dog food (reviewed here!). Myah initially devoured the Rachael Ray Nutrish Real Chicken & Veggies Recipe adult dog food when I set it out for her and that makes me very happy. However, I noticed that when she had training sessions and was reinforced with treats, she would actively avoid the Rachael Ray Nutrish Real Chicken & Veggies Recipe dog food. Even when she would eat other dog foods after training, she would not eat this one.

In part because of that, Rachael Ray Nutrish Real Chicken & Veggies Recipe dog food is a tough sell for me. The fourteen pound bag costs as much as the crunchy dog food Myah likes that I can add boiling water to to make gravy. Rachael Ray Nutrish Real Chicken & Veggies Recipe dog food smells more like traditional, obvious dog food than any other Rachael Ray food Myah has had. This is not do wonders for Myah’s breath, though the crunchy pieces do help to remove plaque and tartar from Myah’s teeth.

A single serving of Rachael Ray Nutrish Real Chicken & Veggies Recipe dog food is six ounces, so a fourteen pound bag does not last as long as I would want for the expense. There are three types of pieces in each bag of Rachael Ray Nutrish Real Chicken & Veggies Recipe dog food. One is a tan speckled block approximately 1/2” long by 5/16” wide and tall. There are dark brown spheres that measure out at 3/8” in diameter and little red triangular wedges that are only 3/8” long on any size. What each of these pieces is supposed to represent remains a mystery to me. Myah often eats several of the pellets at once.

Rachael Ray Nutrish Real Chicken & Veggies Recipe dog food might not smell good, but it is actually very nutritious. Made primarily of Chicken, Chicken meal and brewers rice, the ingredients are about half natural before becoming a chemistry equation I can only assume has to do with preserving the food and keeping it formed. According to the guaranteed analysis, Rachael Ray Nutrish Real Chicken & Veggies Recipe dog food has at least 26% crude protein, 15% crude fat, 1.5% Linoleic Acid, 1.1% Calcium, but no more than 4% crude fiber and 12% moisture. As a dry dog food, it is highly recommended that you have adequate water available for your dog when serving it Rachael Ray Nutrish Real Chicken & Veggies Recipe dog food.

Rachael Ray Nutrish Real Chicken & Veggies Recipe dog food has helped Myah put back on a little weight, with makes us far less worried about her! If only I could get her to eat it more consistently . . .
