The Basics: Shea Moisture Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Weightless Shampoo W/Imbe Oil & Aloe is a great shampoo for people who have ethical concerns about product development who still want clean hair!
Lately when I review hair care products, I am doing so without any real brand loyalty. Instead, I have had a tendency to pick up something new, go through the entire bottle and evaluate the results based upon a whole bottle . . . then I move onto the next one. My wife, however, has had a tendency to enjoy products I go through and pick ones that she likes in order to have me stock up on for her (or for when I complete my endless quest to review everything new I encounter). One of the latest products that my wife has had me stock up on for her is Shea Moisture Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Weightless Shampoo W/Imbe Oil & Aloe.
Shea Moisture Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Weightless Shampoo W/Imbe Oil & Aloe is a high-end shampoo that actually delivers on its promises to clean and hydrate all sorts of hair types. Having recently damaged my hair on a shampoo that included a dye, I have been pleased with how the Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Weightless Shampoo W/Imbe Oil & Aloe has aided in my hair repair process. This shampoo is wonderful at cleaning and doing so in a way that leaves hair smelling great.
The Shea Moisture Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Weightless Shampoo W/Imbe Oil & Aloe comes in a 10.3 fl. oz. tube and, like many Shea Moisture products, bears an above average price. The tube is made of a soft plastic that is very slippery when wet. The translucent tube is filled with the clear fluid that is the shampoo. When wet, the tube slips out of the hands incredibly easily. The cap has a flip-top lid and the contents are squeezed out of the bottle. The Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Weightless Shampoo W/Imbe Oil & Aloe can be easily squeezed out initially; this shampoo becomes much harder to dispense the longer one uses the tube.
The scent of Shea Moisture Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Weightless Shampoo W/Imbe Oil & Aloe is like concentrated coconut water. The coconut smell and the mild additional organic aromas (I'm not sure what Imbe Oil is supposed to smell like, but this shampoo has a vaguely vegetable scent and the hint of the always-mild aloe) blend to make a surprisingly fresh-scented shampoo that leaves hair clean. The Shea Moisture Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Weightless Shampoo W/Imbe Oil & Aloe smells very clean and (especially after Bacon Day in my household - where I spent three hours cooking several pounds of bacon!) effectively eliminates grease and odors from hair.
Like most shampoos, there is nothing mysterious to using the Shea Moisture Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Weightless Shampoo W/Imbe Oil & Aloe. Wet your hair, lather it up with this shampoo and rinse. Unlike many shampoos, I had to use a half-dollar-sized dollop of the Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Weightless Shampoo W/Imbe Oil & Aloe shampoo. This is a bit more than many other shampoos I use and have reviewed. The Shea Moisture Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Weightless Shampoo W/Imbe Oil & Aloe has great lather quality. This shampoo is not overly thick, so it agitates very well and makes a great lather. The Shea Moisture Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Weightless Shampoo W/Imbe Oil & Aloe washes out of hair incredibly easily as a result of its easy and effective lather quality.
The Shea Moisture Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Weightless Shampoo W/Imbe Oil & Aloe does not make my hair feel heavy when it is still wet, and once dry, the shampoo leaves hair clean and moisturized, with a nice, clean scent to it. Even if it is a little more expensive than other shampoos, I can see why my wife likes it and wanted us to stock up on it. The Shea Moisture Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Weightless Shampoo W/Imbe Oil & Aloe delivers clean hair and has a good scent and is ethically-derived with no animal testing, petrolatum or sulfates!
