A Good, But Not Indispensible, Cookie Bar, Keebler Peanut Butter Jumbo Fudge Sticks Are All Right.

The Good: Tastes good, Generally good ingredients
The Bad: Could be a little more affordable, Not the most healthy snack, Not the most bold nutty flavor.
The Basics: Unlike the Mint flavor, Keebler Fudge Sticks Jumbo Peanut Butter cookies are more average than extraordinary.

Ever since my wife and I picked up the Keebler Mint Jumbo Fudge Sticks (reviewed here!), I’ve been eager to try some of the other flavors of their Fudge Stick cookies. So, when I found the Keebler Fudge Sticks Jumbo Peanut Butter flavored cookies at the grocery store this week, I decided it was worth a calorie splurge to pick them up!

Keebler Fudge Sticks Jumbo Peanut Butter flavored cookies are a wafer-style cookie, that come individually wrapped in a cardboard box. At $2.99 for only six cookies, these are actually expensive compared to other cookies and on par with the expense of the average health bars.

Basics

Keebler has been around, pretty much forever, making cookies. The Keebler Fudge Sticks Jumbo Peanut Butter cookies are individually-wrapped wafer cookies and they are good, though they are not the most environmentally friendly.

Each 31 gram Keebler Cookie is a single bar-style cookie approximately 6” long and 3/4” wide and thick. Fudge Sticks Jumbo Peanut Butter Cookies come in a 6.6 oz. box with all six individually-wrapped bars. The box does a decent job of preventing breakage, even after one eats half of the cookies. A serving of Keebler Fudge Sticks Jumbo Peanut Butter cookies is a single cookie.

Ease Of Preparation

Eating Keebler Fudge Sticks Jumbo Peanut Butter cookies is not a real challenge, simply unwrap the cookie, which is pretty much like a candy bar, and consume. When you have a cookie out, all you have to do is stick it in your mouth and chew; there is nothing complicated or foreign about eating these cookies.

Taste

Opening the individual wrap around each of the Keebler Fudge Sticks Jumbo Peanut Butter cookies reveals a strong, nutty flavor. There is almost chocolate scent to these cookie bars.

The Keebler Fudge Sticks Jumbo Peanut Butter Cookies are delightfully chocolatey, though. The chocolate flavor is sweet and milky and surrounds the very dry wafer cookie beneath. The peanut flavor is appropriately dry and essentially nutty, but much sweeter than most peanut butters on the market. The cookies are sweeter than they are dry, so it makes the peanut flavor a little less robust than some of the other Keebler fudge cookies. There is no aftertaste to these cookies.

Nutrition

Keebler Fudge Sticks Jumbo Peanut Butter cookies are intended as a sweet snack, not a full meal. One of these 31 gram cookies represents a single serving and they are not at all nutritious. Made primarily of sugar, vegetable oil and peanut butter. This is not an all-natural food product and these cookies were produced on equipment that forces them to add a disclaimer about peanuts, soy, and wheat. The peanut part is pretty obvious given that these are peanut butter flavored.

Keebler Fudge Sticks Jumbo Peanut Butter cookies have a whopping 170 calories for a single cookie serving, 80 of which are from fat. A full serving represents 25% of one's RDA of saturated fat, though they are cholesterol free. As well, they are fairly low in sodium for a cookie, having only 35 mg per serving. They have two grams of protein and only two percent of the RDA of Iron . . . and no other real nutrients. As one who is working on getting heart-healthy, I wish there had been even a gram of dietary fiber. The ONLY thing that brings these cookies down is the real lack of nutritional value.

Storage/Cleanup

Keebler Fudge Sticks Jumbo Peanut Butter cookies are easy to care for and clean up. Unopened, they have a pretty short shelf life; I purchased a box on the July 5 (2012) and they have an expiration date of November 30, 2012. Kept sealed, I am sure they would have lasted at least that long. As cookies, one need only not shake the box excessively to care for them and wipe away any crumbs after eating them. This is a low-stress food!

Overall

Keebler Fudge Sticks Jumbo Peanut Butter cookies are good, but more average than superlative in any way.

Good, But Not Overly Impressive, Keebler Mint Crème Middles Chocolate Graham Cookies Have An Intriguing Flavor Palate.

The Good: Tastes good, Fairly good ingredients
The Bad: Not the most healthy snack, Not as powerful a flavor as they could be.
The Basics: Keebler Mint Creme Middles Chocolate Graham cookies are good, but not truly great.

Keebler mint cookies came to me via my wife. Despite her wanting me to get healthy, she has been getting some delicious snacks for me for enjoyment and review. Following on the heels of the Keebler Fudge Sticks Jumbo Mint Wafer cookies (reviewed here!), my wife picked up a package of Keebler Mint Creme Middles Chocolate Graham flavored cookies. And I was generally happy with these cookies. They are flavorful and enjoyable, but they are not quite as impressive as I would have hoped. While they live up to all three of the promised flavors in the cookie, the flavors are each a little muted. The result is that none of them live up to their full potential.

Keebler Mint Creme Middles Chocolate Graham flavored cookies are a simple chocolate cookie, with a mint cream in the middle, that comes in a pretty standard cookie package. At $2.99 for the pack, these are actually pretty affordable and reasonably priced.

Basics

Keebler has been around forever, making cookies. The Keebler Mint Creme Middles Chocolate Graham cookies are wrapped in a single plastic package with support from a thin plastic tray. The cookies are very well protected by the tray.

Each 9 gram Keebler Cookie is a single cookie approximately 1 1/2" in diameter and 3/8” thick. Mint Creme Middles Chocolate Graham Cookies come in a 9.5 oz. box with thirty-eight cookies. The package does a decent job of preventing breakage, at least until one begins to eat many or most of these cookies. A serving of Keebler Mint Creme Middles Chocolate Graham cookies is three cookies.

Ease Of Preparation

Eating Keebler Mint Creme Middles Chocolate Graham cookies is not a real challenge, simply tray in the package and consume. When you have a cookie out, all you have to do is stick it in your mouth and chew; there is nothing complicated or foreign about eating these cookies. Keeping the other servings from going stale requires one to seal the package back up.

Taste

Opening the package of Keebler Mint Creme Middles Chocolate Graham cookies reveals a strong, cool mint scent. However, it is in the scent that the graham flavor truly comes out. The cinnamon and graham aroma balances with the peppy mint scent.

Placing the Keebler Mint Creme Middles Chocolate Graham Cookies on the tongue, one might be surprised by how subtle the mint flavor actually is. The cookie is dominated by an actual chocolate flavor and the center is creamy, as opposed to impressively mint flavored. Chewing through the cookies, the chocolate and a slight mint flavor blend nicely, but the dry chocolate flavor is far stronger than the hint in the aftertaste of graham cracker. These cookies are not overwhelmingly dry, nor excessively graham flavored. The chocolate and a general mint flavor do linger in the mouth after one is done eating these.

Nutrition

Keebler Mint Creme Middles Chocolate Graham cookies are intended as a sweet snack, not a full meal. Three of these 9 gram cookies represents a single serving and they are not especially nutritious. Made primarily of sugar, enriched flour, and vegetable oil. This is not an all-natural food product and these cookies were produced on equipment that forces them to add a disclaimer about milk, soy, and wheat.

Keebler Mint Creme Middles Chocolate Graham cookies have a whopping 130 calories for a single cookie serving, 60 of which are from fat. A full serving represents 20% of one's RDA of saturated fat, though they are cholesterol free. As well, they are fairly low in sodium for a cookie, having only 75 mg per serving. They have a gram of protein and only two percent of the RDA of Iron . . . and no other real nutrients. As one who is working on getting heart-healthy, I wish there had been even a gram of dietary fiber. The lack of nutritional value is disappointing.

Storage/Cleanup

Keebler Mint Creme Middles Chocolate Graham cookies are easy to care for and clean up. Unopened, they have a pretty short shelf life; we purchased a box on the first day of May (2012) and they have an expiration date of June 24, 2012. Kept sealed, I am sure they would have lasted at least that long. As cookies, one need only not shake the box excessively to care for them and wipe away any crumbs after eating them. This is a low-stress food!

Overall

Keebler Mint Creme Middles Chocolate Graham cookies are good and have a decent flavor, though they could be a little more flavorful. Keebler makes a good cookie, but these are not a truly exceptional cookie.

Fun, Tasty And Worth Buying: Keebler Fudge Sticks Jumbo Mint Are A Winner!

The Good: Tastes great, Generally good ingredients
The Bad: Could be a little more affordable, Not the most healthy snack
The Basics: Keebler Fudge Sticks Jumbo Mint cookies area delicious sweet snack worth getting!

It has been a while since a cookie has really impressed me. Prepackaged sweet snacks often come across to me as disproportionately expensive compared to other snacks and I seldom get wowed by them. However, my love of all things chocolate mint has inspired me to keep trying new things. Today, it is Keebler Fudge Sticks Jumbo Mint cookies. A few weeks ago, I was legitimately impressed by Slim-Fast 3-2-1 Chocolate Mint snack bars (reviewed here!). By comparison, the Keebler Fudge Sticks Jumbo Mint flavored cookies are impressive, but not nearly as healthy as the Slim-Fast alternative. Given that both are about as expensive, the lack of health benefits from the Keebler Mint cookies are a serious detraction.

Keebler Fudge Sticks Jumbo Mint flavored cookies are a wafer-style cookie, that comes individually wrapped in a cardboard box. At $2.99 for only six cookies, these are actually expensive compared to other cookies and on par with the expense of the average health bars.

Basics

Keebler has been around, pretty much forever, making cookies. The Keebler Fudge Sticks Jumbo Mint cookies are individually-wrapped wafer cookies and they are pretty excellent, though they are not the most environmentally friendly.

Each 31 gram Keebler Cookie is a single bar-style cookie approximately 6” long and 3/4” wide and thick. Fudge Sticks Jumbo Mint Cookies come in a 6.6 oz. box with all six individually-wrapped bars. The box does a decent job of preventing breakage, at least until one begins to eat many or most of these cookies. A serving of Keebler Fudge Sticks Jumbo Mint cookies is a single cookie.

Ease Of Preparation

Eating Keebler Fudge Sticks Jumbo Mint cookies is not a real challenge, simply unwrap the cookie, which is pretty much like a candy bar, and consume. When you have a cookie out, all you have to do is stick it in your mouth and chew; there is nothing complicated or foreign about eating these cookies.

Taste

Opening the individual wrap around each of the Keebler Fudge Sticks Jumbo Mint cookies presents the consumer with one of the impressive and complete mint smells of any cookie, even most confections, than I have ever tried. The scent is an enticing blend of spearmint and peppermint for the aroma and it is enough to make one’s mouth water.

Taking a bite of the Keebler Fudge Sticks Jumbo Mint Cookies, the consumer is rewarded with a strong fudge flavor that is broken by a surprisingly cold mint flavor. The blend of peppermint and spearmint in the layers of the wafer cookies is a perfect balance with the fudge exterior. The light chocolate flavor encases the mint in a delightful way. Between the mint and the chocolate coating, the Fudge Sticks Jumbo Mint Cookies, the actual wafer cookie portion is both protected and prevented from drying out the mouth. In other words, these cookies do not suffer from the usual problem of leaving the consumer feeling like they need a drink. These cookies are a delightful snack that truly please.

Nutrition

Kept sealed, I am sure they would have lasted at least that long. As cookies, one need only not shake the box excessively to care for them and wipe away any crumbs after eating them. This is a low-stress food!

Overall

Keebler Fudge Sticks Jumbo Mint cookies taste great, but have little nutritional redemption, making them a pricy, but delicious treat.
