The Good: Great flavor, Inexpensive, Whitening
The Bad: Could do more (like have tartar control elements)
The Basics: Crest Be Dynamic Lime Spearmint Zest is a surprisingly good flavor of Crest toothpaste worth trying . . .for as long as it remains on the market!
The toothpaste market is hardly a dynamic one. Despite the efforts of all of the major toothpaste manufacturers, the two biggest things that they have to compete with in regard to consumers are price and inertia. Consumers might want a toothpaste to do everything possible to clean, protect and whiten their teeth, but they’re not keen on paying a whole lot more for it. At the other end of the spectrum, consumers tend to go looking for the brands and types of toothpaste they are most familiar with and seem to be less experimental than manufacturers might like. That might be why I am able to find so many recent-to-market toothpastes on clearance mere months after they are released. I can only assume it was consumer fear to something different that netted the Crest Be Dynamic Lime Spearmint Zest I bought a month ago its position on the Clearance rack.
Crest Be Dynamic Lime Spearmint Zest is a surprisingly good toothpaste and I write that as one who is not a fan of fruit-flavored toothpastes. Crest pulls it out, though, by making a toothpaste that cleans well, freshens breath and makes one feel like they have a clean, fresh mouth!
I purchased the 4.5 oz. tube of Crest Be Dynamic Lime Spearmint Zest about a month ago and have been using it steadily since. The Crest Be Dynamic Lime Spearmint Zest toothpaste lives up to its promises of freshening breath and having the promised flavors. Perhaps as importantly, this is one of the few whitening toothpastes that I have used that has had an effect on whitening my teeth in a noticeable way over the course of the month of use!
Crest Be Dynamic Lime Spearmint Zest is a delightful toothpaste that is part of Crest’s new “Be” line. It comes in a classic tube design with a plastic top that unscrews from the tube. The 4.5 oz. tube is six inches long by two inches wide and it tapers near the end with the nozzle. When the cap is unscrewed, there is a hard plastic nozzle which directs the product out of the tube and onto one's toothbrush. Toothpaste is easily dispensed from this type tube by flattening the plastic tube from the bottom toward the top and this also allows the user to get the most out of it.
To use Crest Be Dynamic Lime Spearmint Zest, simply dispense a small amount onto the bristles of a toothbrush and bring the brush up to your mouth and spread the toothpaste over teeth using the brush. Then agitate the toothpaste into a foam to clean teeth entirely and expectorate the product (the process takes about a minute). Rinse mouth to remove any excess toothpaste and the process is complete and your teeth ought to feel wonderful.
The Crest Be Dynamic Lime Spearmint Zest tastes like exactly what it is supposed to. The toothpaste has a slightly tart lime flavor that has a great citrus flavor. The citrus flavor blends with a spearmint hit that leaves the mouth feeling traditionally fresh and clean.
While the Crest Be Dynamic Lime Spearmint Zest toothpaste is a whitening toothpaste, it is not a tartar control paste. I have not had any cavities since starting to use the Be Dynamic Lime Spearmint Zest toothpaste. Be Dynamic Lime Spearmint Zest toothpaste significantly freshens breath and it keeps one’s breath fresh for at least fifteen minutes after use. After brushing with Crest Be Dynamic Lime Spearmint Zest toothpaste, my mouth felt noticeably fresher; my wife agreed!
Compared to other toothpastes that provide tartar control protection, Crest Be Dynamic Lime Spearmint Zest is just a little less than it could be, but it is still a flavorful, effective tooth and mouth cleaner well worth trying . . . for as long as it is on the market!
