The Good: Decent lather, Easy to open bottle, Fairly inexpensive, Great aroma!
The Bad: Not antibacterial, No scrubbing grit.
The Basics: The Suave Seasonals Sweet Guava Nectar Body Wash is well worth picking up!
Suave is a brand of personal cleaning products that hits with customers largely for the fact that they manage to keep prices down. One of the least expensive body cleaners on the market, Suave has a hit-or-miss reputation with me for cleaning power and aroma. With the Suave Seasonals Sweet Guava Nectar Body Wash, Suave has a hit worth picking up, mostly on the strength of the sweet scent of the body wash than its cleaning power. This body wash does not have scrubbing beads in it and, as a result, it does not clean as well as some of the other body washes on the market. But, it does clean and it smells amazing and fruity, making it well worth picking up for the way it cleans and freshens the skin.
The Suave Sweet Guava Nectar body wash is a wonderful body wash, but it is basically a papaya scent that is sugary and delightful. This body wash is distinctive and has no analogue shampoo that I have yet found.
Suave Sweet Guava Nectar body wash is delightful in its aroma and pretty distinct in its coloring. The 12 fl. oz. bottle usually sells for $2.99 and seems to be commonly available, at least in Michigan. The Sweet Guava Nectar Body Wash is an effective, easy-to-use product that leaves skin feeling soft, with a strong and distinctive scent to clearly define it for what it intends to be. The result is that those who truly love distinct scents are left invigorated and freshened by the scent of this body wash.
Body washes are products I am less eager to review because they usually seem disproportionately expensive to me, but Suave is known for providing high-quality personal cleaners at affordable prices. Suave's Sweet Guava Nectar Body Wash initial price is very reasonable. The Sweet Guava Nectar Body Wash does manage to lather up incredibly well and that adds even more value to it for the thrifty shopper.
The Sweet Guava Nectar Body Wash is a fairly liquid translucent purple fluid about the consistency of most shampoos. This is a smooth body wash, so there is no grit in it to help exfoliate the skin. Using the Sweet Guava Nectar Body Wash is simple. The bottle features a flip top that opens with the flick of the thumb. The bottle is easy enough to open and close one handed as to make it convenient in the tub or shower, especially if one is using a loufa or washcloth in the other hand. The bottle of Sweet Guava Nectar Body Wash is fairly flat on the front and back and rounded on the sides. It is not overly slippery when wet, unlike some body washes I have used!
Dispensing the Sweet Guava Nectar Body Wash is very easy. Simply squeeze the bottle and apply the fluidic body wash to your hand, loufa or cloth. In my experience, the body wash is more liquid than creamy and, as a result, comes out much like a hand soap or dishwashing liquid. As a result, about a half dollar-sized dollop is all that is necessary to clean my whole body when it mixes with the water from my shower or bath. I've found it most effective to dole out the body wash in dime-sized dollops in order to get the most out of each application, but generally it takes very little of this body wash to go a long way.
Part of the reason the product washes off so well is that it lathers exceptionally well. Used sparingly, like in dime-sized portions, the Sweet Guava Nectar Body Wash may be spread over an entire limb the way it lathers up. Simply agitating it on the skin yields a foamy, clean lather that both moisturizes and cleans skin. Without a loufa or other rough applicator, it does not remove dirt or grime beyond what one expects from water running. As the water flows over it, it washes off easily leaving behind no film or residue, only clean, soft skin and a faint, incredible smell.
The Sweet Guava Nectar Body Wash won me over on the scent. The scent is sweet and original and smells exactly like it is supposed to. Suave's Sweet Guava Nectar Body Wash is made primarily of water. For a body wash that cleans as well as this one does, it is astonishing to think it is composed mostly of water.
Suave Sweet Guava Nectar Body Wash might not be the ultimate cleaner, but it smells great and cleans inexpensively enough to be well worth recommending.
