The water filter itself must be prepped; soaked for about three hours in a separate container or bowl before it is inserted into the Brita Water Filter 42629 Slim Pitcher. That’s it; it is that simple.

The Brita Water Filter 42629 Slim Pitcher produces clean, delicious water that tastes like water that has been boiled and better than water that one uses iodine tablets in.
